Breakfast Sucks

This editorial illustration was the last project from Tutormill. I was asked to illustrate about an article about how the writer feels breakfast is overrated. It's a funny, tongue-in-cheek piece poking fun at the breakfast craze in the dining world. I hope you enjoy my final illustration! :)

The original print is available at Gallery Nucleus and the proceeds from this sale benefits World Wildlife Fund.

Easter 2013

Hello, here's another collaborated piece created by my good friend Sam and myself.
It's been 'a bit' late to say, but happy belated Easter to you and hope you enjoy our piece :)

Not Anymore

Here is another illustration I've made from Tutormill class.
This illustration is about a company which is attempting to charge website visitors for the content that they previous gave away for free. So basically it's about the notion of something that "used to be free but is no longer". I chose dog feeder became candy dispenser since we all know pets don't pay for food.

Also now you can purchase my illustration prints and other products from Society6
AND! here is one of the pillows that's available~!
Please visit my shop here :)

Chicken Farming

I started a great class from Tutormill few weeks ago, and it gives me motivation and excitement to work as an illustrator again. They offer you to take a class with two mentors of your choice to work with. I chose Marcos and Greg who's work I admire and they offer really great advice and critique as "Art Director" in the real world. I'm really enjoying it even though some assignments are pretty tough!

So this is one of the projects, and it is about 'micro chicken farms' in people's backyards that are mostly against the law within city limits, but people are doing this under cover.  Here are some of roughs and final illustration.

(I still like this drawing but it isn't saying 'illegal' and 'micro farm',
so it misses the marks conceptually. It shows chicken=pet. )

Here is the final illustration! :)

New T-shirt is up! [ㄱ,ㄴ,ㄷ,ㄹ]

These are Korean alphabet,  ㄱ,ㄴ,ㄷ,ㄹ,ㅁ,ㅂ,ㅅ,ㅇ,ㅈ,ㅊ,ㅋ,ㅌ,ㅍ,ㅎ
For the t-shirt, I used black and yellow instead of the original design.
The design would've been look nicer if it's bigger in size.
But over all, DRIFTOUT and their model did great job and hope you like it as well!
They are now available at DRIFTOUT  and since it's all in Korean, if you would like to purchase,
please contact me directly here yg@yoojinguak.com
I would love to provide all the details in English and it ships to worldwide!

Korean Alphabet

These letters are part of Korean alphabets I designed for DRIFTOUT, a graphic t-shirt company in Korea. They represent these letters : ㄱ,ㄴ,ㄷ,ㄹ,ㅁ,ㅂ,ㅅ,ㅇ,ㅈ,ㅊ,ㅋ,ㅌ,ㅍ,ㅎ
Not available yet, but i will announce it again! so stay tuned :)
