Cinderella complex: fear of being independence, and usually, it applies to women who rely on the direction and support of a man. well, this is the first illustration for my thesis, which i have to rework sometimes later.
It was a very tough beginning and i was right on the edge of giving up with my thesis. but a lot of people helped me to stay strong and now i am taking thesis with other pals.. (T-T) hahahaha
well, back to my first piece, i had no idea how it would work since i had no chance to talk about my concepts and sketches with Taxali. and thankfully,
Dan helped me to come up with some clever concepts and i could finally mix some ideas together. So it ended up with the glass slipper-wheelbarrow racing idea and the lady is trying to catch the guys with the rope.
i guess i worried way too much about the first illustration, and i lost my control. Now I am kinda happy with the outcome, but i know i have to fix several parts. i just want to share this one since i know my third and fourth illustrations would look sorta different in style-wise and possibly i might change this piece in different style too...dunno yet.
